Warriors Win on Senior Day 13-3

WA Wins 13-3 on Senior Day
The Warriors had Senior day on Saturday and finished the regular season with a 13-3 victory. With the victory the Warriors won 20 games reaching a goal set by Coach Byrne for this season. Seniors Tate Fritz and David Sapyta had big days for the Warriors. Sapyta had a huge triple in the third inning bringing home three runs and Tate Fritz hit a three run home run. The other Seniors JD Joiner, Ryan Kramer and Luke Thorson all saw action. The Warriors biggest inning was in the bottom of the third when they scored nine runs! Here are some of the hits on the inning: Sapyta with a 3 RBI triple, McNally an RBI single, Sandberg and RBI double, Boggs got an RBI single, Swaney and RBI single, Joiner and RBI double, and McKenna walked plating a run. Trevor Swaney had another great game going 2-3 with two RBI’s and Luke Boggs also tacked on two RBI’s. Chicago U High had more errors than hits, with seven errors and four hits. The Warriors next game is Wednesday for Regionals. The information is not known yet but I will post information when it comes!
